Horst Schulze is an absolute "powerhouse". Every speech he does is filled with inspiring, encouraging stories, relevant best practices, and things that you can begin implementing asap to become a more effective, more dynamic leader! I'm so fortunate to have worked directly with him. 😊
The first time I heard about Horst Schulze was when my professor for the Doctoral Class at the UBIS, mentioned that he had worked in the Ritz Carlton with Horst Schulze. Professor Sean Jasso taught "Trends in Leadership" and during several of his lectures, he mentioned leadership traits he acquired by working in the Ritz Carlton...the snapping of the fingers to signify urgency. To watch this video is a class assignment and am glad to have watched it. A couple of take aways: 1. Some of the good decisions-hiring good people, and hiring not to function but for purpose. I like the principle of ownership of a problem in the organisation, and to solve to it; the non-negotiable 24. Excellence is the individualised service to customers.
Had the pleasure of listening to and picking his brain for a few minutes and I can tell you this man is an absolute legend I appreciate every second of time spent listening and speaking to Him
This is why I never visited Chicago after the Ritz changed hands. Awesome talk

Sometimes, the dissidents have a point- they identify what must change.
Do not go to work to do the work , instead go to work to create excellence in what you are doing , thanx a lot for this Mr Schulze.
